今回の私のバルセロナへの空の旅をご紹介します。2月28日（金）に羽田昼発のルフトハンザ便でミュンヘン経由バルセロナ行きのフライトに乗る予定でしたが、２月26日（水）朝、ルフトハンザ航空からメールで連絡がありストライキの為、Air Chinaとオーストリア航空の代替便を用意したとの連絡が入りました。
代替便は２月28日６PM発のAir China。まずは北京へ、そして北京からウィーンへ、そしてウィーンからはオーストリア航空でバルセロナへ飛びました。
元のルフトハンザ便は2月28日深夜バルセロナ着でしたが、乗り継ぎ便は3月１日朝着でした。
とにかくバルセロナに無事到着してほっとしました。

Let me share my flight experience on this trip to Barcelona.
I had originally planned to fly from Haneda on Friday, February 28, taking a Lufthansa flight via Munich to Barcelona. However, on the morning of Wednesday, February 26, I received an email from Lufthansa informing me that, due to a strike, they had arranged an alternative route using Air China and Austrian Airlines.
The alternative itinerary had me departing on February 28 at 6:00 PM on Air China. I first flew to Beijing, then from Beijing to Vienna, and finally took Austrian Airlines from Vienna to Barcelona.
My original Lufthansa flight would have arrived in Barcelona late at night on February 28, but with the new itinerary, I landed on the morning of March 1.
In any case, I was relieved to have arrived safely in Barcelona.

北京到着は9:20PM。到着後はこちらのAir Chinaのラウンジで５時間近く過ごしました。北京発は3:00AM深夜です。
We arrived in Beijing at 9:20 PM. After landing, I spent nearly five hours in the Air China lounge. Our departure from Beijing was at 3:00 AM in the middle of the night.
ようやく北京発3:00am発のウイーン行きのフライトの搭乗Gate E09を知らせる画面が現れました。
Finally, the screen announced the boarding gate — E09 — for my 3:00 AM flight from Beijing to Vienna.
こちらはウイーン到着前に出てきたAir Chinaの朝食。中国式のお粥を頂きました。

ウイーン到着は6:20am 、ウイーン発は7:00am 乗り継ぎ時間はわずか40分ギリギリでした。EUの通関を通過した後、オーストリア航空便のGateまで走りました。何とか夜明けのウイーン空港でバルセロナ行きのオーストリア航空に乗ることができました。
We arrived in Vienna at 6:20 AM, with only a 40-minute layover before the 7:00 AM departure. After passing through EU immigration, I had to run to the gate for the Austrian Airlines flight. Somehow, I managed to catch the flight to Barcelona — just in time — in the early morning light at Vienna Airport.

ウイーンからバルセロナは２時間の空の旅ですので機内食はなく飲み物だけでした。
The flight from Vienna to Barcelona was just two hours, so no meal was served — only drinks.
9:20am バルセロナに到着しました。I arrived in Barcelona at 9:20 AM.
朝なのでバルセロナ空港の人はまばらです。Since it was morning, Barcelona Airport was fairly quiet with only a few people around.
