カテドラルの正門は１９世紀に建てられましたが、設計図は１４世紀に描かれたものです。一番高い塔（聖ヘレナの塔）は高さ ７０ メートルまで達します。
１９９７年にこのカテドラルでクリスティーナ王女（スペイン王フアン・カルロス１世の次女）の結婚式、２０１０年にジョアン・アントニ・サマランチ（国際オリンピック委員会の元会長）のお葬式が行われたそうです。

The cathedral’s main façade was built in the 19th century, but it was based on designs that were originally drawn in the 14th century. Its tallest tower, the Tower of Saint Helena, rises to a height of 70 meters.
Notably, the cathedral hosted the wedding of Princess Cristina (the second daughter of King Juan Carlos I of Spain) in 1997, and the funeral of Juan Antonio Samaranch, former president of the International Olympic Committee, in 2010.
